Lily & George take safety very seriously, that's why they have sought out the most rigorous toy safety standards in the world and made sure they meet or exceed them! The result is that every toy they make is manufactured with safety in mind. This naturally means no choking hazards or other nasty's for you to worry about. 

In New Zealand and Australia Lily & George have the AS/NZS ISO 8124 Standard. This means that toys sold here need to meet this standard but also means that toys purchased from overseas may not meet them. This is the peace of mind you get by dealing with  a reputable manufacturer such as Lily & George. Not satisfied with just that they looked further afield to both Europe and North America.

They have the EN-71-3 and the ASTM standards which although cover most of the same ground, in some areas are even stricter than here in New Zealand & Australia. Once again their toys have met or exceeded these standards. 

So when you purchase a Lily & George toy, rest assured they have done the homework and your new purchase will be safe, durable and most importantly a great wee companion for your little one!

Care for our product and care for our people, that’s a big part of who we are here at Lily & George. Below will show you how to get the best out of our new Lily & George toy as well as some behind the scenes information about our supply chain and how we strive to be ethical, transparent and all round good humans!

Care for your products:
All Lily & George toys have been designed with durability in mind, that’s why they are all machine washable. We do recommend a gentle cycle and a low or gentle detergent soap.

Once washed the can be hung on the line to dry, this also allows the sun to do its magic with the ultraviolet light and this helps kill any remaining bacteria from the toy.

Please note we do not recommend the use of a tumble dryer on any of our products.
